But there is one form of nuclear technology that we’ve never embarked upon and that’s next-generation, zero-emissions nuclear energy.

What can Australia learn from Japan?

No people have a more complicated relationship with nuclear technology than the Japanese. As such, Ted decided to visit Japan as part of an in-depth analysis into the possibility of including new nuclear technology in Australia's future energy mix.

What can Australia learn from Hiroshima?

Safety was a key concern raised in the Time to Talk Nuclear survey, particularly the tragedies that befell Nagaskai and Hiroshima in 1945. To openly and honestly examine all issues raised in the survey, Ted felt it was important to visit Hiroshima to learn more.

What can we learn from Fukushima?

Ted met with business owners, government officials, nuclear experts, and everyday local people of Fukushima who showed remarkable resilience and optimism following the tragic earthquake and tsunami of 2011.
